1. What is a VoiceCards® greeting card?

  • VoiceCards® are the only Patent protected card that can be created over the Telephone or Internet that contain the sender’s personal voice (audio) message.

  • When the recipient gets their card they just squeeze “play” and will hear the sender’s voice message. The message can be played over and over again for family and friends.

2. How do VoiceCards® differ from all the rest?

  • The Sender records their voice message over the Telephone or Internet at the same time they are placing their order ... no second calls, pin numbers or going to a retail store;

  • 30-second recording ... instead of only 10-seconds from retail store purchased cards;

  • Cards come in various sizes and look like greeting cards ... not unconventionally sized, cardboard, plastic or foam filled;

  • Customized cards are available for larger vendors ... not one size fits all;

  • Recipients can hear the Sender’s message over and over when they get the card ... no Personal Computer or calls to an 800 number required; and

4. How are VoiceCards® greeting cards created by the Sender?

  • Cards only – over the telephone by calling 1-800-VOICECARDS (800-864-2273).

  • Cards only – on the Internet at www.VoiceCards.com .

  • Telephone Order – when the sender contacts a customer service person at a retail store or on-line vendor, they would create their card after they have place their merchandise, gift or flowers order.

    After getting the customer’s order, information, payment, and assigning an order number, the Vendor transfers the sender/customer’s telephone call to the VoiceCards, Inc. interactive voice recording system. They will be prompted to record their message … play back the message … re-record their message … and save their message.

  • Internet Order – when ordering from on-line from a computer or Vendor’s Website, the sender/customer is prompted to provide their order, information, and payment. The card is added to the sender’s “cart.” They will then be prompted to record their message … play back the message … re-record their message … and save their message.

5. How are VoiceCards® greeting cards created by the Retail Vendor?

  • The Vendor signs into the VoiceCards, Inc. Web site ... and signs in with their authorization code.

  • Sender/Customer’s information and order number will appear in the “New Order’s” page.

  • Vendor connects a VoiceCards® greeting card to their computer (PC) via a USB cable provided by VoiceCards, Inc. and clicks on the “download” feature on the Web site.

  • The VoiceCards® greeting card is sent by itself in the U.S. Mail . . . or is matched up with the sender/customer’s merchandise/flowers/gift order and is delivered to the recipient.

  • When the recipient gets their card they just squeeze “play” and will hear the sender’s voice message. The message can be played over and over again for family and friends. “It is the next best thing to being there!”®

9. Who are VoiceCards, Inc. competitors?

  • There are other companies that have greeting cards with voice or music, but the sender must visit a retail store . . . search through the card racks . . . find a card that has a message they can modify to say exactly what they want their message to be . . . write or record their message . . . address the envelope . . . and find a post office to send the card with or without the gift.

10. How is the product distributed?

  • Product are sent to Authorized Vendor retail stores locations using existing logistic channels such as U.S. Mail, FedEx, UPS, etc. For large volume orders VoiceCards® can have the manufacturer send the product to your warehouse or directly to retail stores.

  • VoiceCards® greeting cards are sent through the U.S. Mail by themselves . . . or with flowers . . . or with a gift.

11. We have been approached before (or not) by companies offering recorded cards. What is the investment vs. the returns?

The only investment is for cards the authorized vendor/retailer will be selling. For example:
  • 100 VoiceCards® delivered to your store at a total cost of $517 can easily be sold for $800 (8.00 each*) resulting in a profit margin of $283 (2.83) or 54.7%.

  • Buying in cards in volume and/or selling cards at $8.50* could result in profit margins of $2.83 – 2.93 + (63 – 67%).

  • Providing the option of a VoiceCards® greeting card will give you a competitive advantage and enhance the sender’s gift giving experience. Priceless!

12. Subscription fees?

  • Yes. Fees vary from $10 – 20 per month and are automatically charged to your business credit card.

  • Benefits can include your business logo/link on the VoiceCards, Inc. Web site and listings with other Authorized Vendors.

13. Online Internet Ordering?

  • Cards only – on the Internet at www.VoiceCards.com .

  • Authorized Vendor – when ordering from the Vendor’s retail Web site. The card is added to the sender’s “cart.”

14. Telephone Ordering?

  • Cards only – over the telephone by calling 1-800-VOICECARDS (800-864-2273).

  • Authorized Vendor – when the sender contacts a customer service person at a retail store or on-line vendor . . . at the same time they place their merchandise, gift or flowers order.

15. Local Orders vs. Out of Area (City, State or Country) Orders?

  • Authorized Vendors will have access on-line to other vendors by zip code.

  • Orders placed in one city can be forwarded to another Authorized Vendor in another city, state or country via the Internet.

  • Authorized Vendors who receive an out of area order will have the sender (customer)and recipient’s information, order number and will be able to access the VoiceCards, Inc. system to download the sender’s voice file (message).

  • Unlike some of the other firms that provide out of area ordering capabilities, there is no “service” fees paid to VoiceCards, Inc. This will allow the sender/customer to get more value for the merchandise/flowers and/or profit to vendors.

16. Is a Contract with VoiceCards, Inc. required?

  • No. A Vendor only needs to sign a “Vendor Authorization” from that gives permission for VoiceCards, Inc. to bill card orders, shipping and monthly subscription fees to the Vendor’s credit card.

  • Terms & Conditions for being a VoiceCards® are standard business agreements regarding the use of the VoiceCards, Inc. systems, cards, hold harmless liability and patent protections.

  • Vendors can quit anytime and for any reason . . . although we would want to know why so any misunderstandings can be clarified.

17. What requirements and technical expertise do I need?

  • An computer with access to the Internet on a high-speed connection, i.e. Time Warner, Verizon Fios, Charter Communications, etc.

  • Telephone transfer feature . . . Verizon, AT&T and most carriers have this feature:
    - tell sender/customer you are transferring them to record their voice message
    - push the “flash” or “hook switch” on the telephone
    - this will give you a dial tone to dial another number
    - speed dial VoiceCards, Inc. server . . . enter your authorization number (can also be on speed dial)
    - hang up and the sender/customer will be connected to the VCI-IAV recording system

  • Understanding how to download a voice file via a USB connection to the VoiceCards® greeting card. This is not a complicated procedure! You will receive training and written instructions with pictures of computer screens to assist you.

18. What technical support can be expected?

  • The VoiceCards® systems are easy to use.

  • No software is needed on your computer. Just point and click.

  • Authorized Vendors have access to their own VoiceCards, Inc. Web site that is backed up, maintenance free and secure.

  • Orders can be seen in various stages of creation and completion:
    - New Order
    - Order History
    - Pending Orders
    - Forwarded Orders
    - Complete Orders
    - Incomplete Orders

  • Authorized Vendors have both e-mail and telephone access for technical support of the VoiceCards, Inc. systems.
